Prayer Updates for October
Spread of the Gospel_
The mission of our church will be "The fulfillment of the Great Commission
in the spirit of the Great Commandment." Pray that the Lord of the harvest
would allow us to sow many seeds and reap a tremendous harvest in Fairfax.
Because of it's incredible diversity, we believe that what happens in
Fairfax will ripple around the globe. What incredible potential for the
Great Commission!
Core Team
We're trusting that God will bring together a gifted Core Team that will do
the hard, sacrificial work of launching Harvest Fairfax. Would you pray for
this team? Ask God to bring together a spiritually and mentally mature team
that is 3C (Contagious, Compelled, and Committed).
Mike & Linda Bowker
Everyone who meets Mike and Linda Bowker loves them! They are an incredibly
sacrificial couple who are following the Lord in obediece to do whatever
they can to help launch Harvest in Fairfax. Please pray for wisdom and
guidance for them as they navigate the changes necessary to serve as an
important part of our Core Team.
Location
The physical location of a church is an incredible tool in pursuing the
Great Commission in Fairfax. We're targetting a Middle School and an
Elementary School that we believe would be strategically important. Would
you please pray for the Holy Spirit's leading, wisdom, and guidance in
preserving one of these locations.
